TOWN OF KINGSTON – A 68-year-old Sawkill man was charged with driving while intoxicated shortly after 7 Tuesday night when his vehicle struck a residence on Sawkill Road in the Town of Kingston and ended up in Sawkill Creek.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies charged Bruce Thorbjornsen with misdemeanor DWI and released him on an appearance ticket. Additional tickets were issued by the State Environmental Conservation Police.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by State Police, State DEC Police, Ulster House Co. #5, Sawkill and Ruby fire departments and Mobile Life Support Services.
