Charles Pratt, arrested in New York City

MONTICELLO – Charles Pratt, the 33-year-old Watertown man wanted in connection with the robbery of a Monticello bank on Friday, has been captured in New York City.

Pratt was wanted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office for walking into the M&T Bank branch on Route 42 in the early afternoon and passing a note to a teller stating he had a gun; it demanded money. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Pratt was arrested by New York City Police from the 32nd Precinct in Manhattan, the Sullivan Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.
