TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A 57-year-old New Windsor man was operating the 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that collided with an SUV on Route 300 in front of the Walmart store in the Town of Newburgh on Monday afternoon, town police said Tuesday.

Steven Gordon, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was flown by medical helicopter to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Police said he was riding southbound on Route 300 when a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, driven by Rosalba Garcia-Sanchez, 30, of Newburgh, was driving northbound on Route 300 when she attempted to make a left turn into Walmart causing the motorcycle to collide with the car.

At this time police said there are no charges or tickets issued as the case remains under investigation.
