SAUGERTIES – A 25-year-old Saugerties man who had been convicted of rape has been arrested on an Ulster County Superior Court bench warrant.
Eyzaiya Ortiz, 25, was arrested by Saugerties Police who was wanted for failure to appear for resentencing on a conviction of rape in connection with his having sex with an underage girl.
He was located in a private home on Cafaldo Drive in Glasco on Wednesday, March 30, taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ulster County Jail.
