Accident ties up Thruway traffic near Kingston

TOWN OF ULSTER – A Sunday afternoon accident on the southbound Thruway near Kingston tried up traffic for hours.

Details were not available late Sunday, but a medivac helicopter was brought in to fly an injured individual to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

One lane of traffic was closed during rescue and investigation operations.
