POUGHKEEPSIE – The Junior League of Poughkeepsie is now accepting applications from not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporations, for a $500 grant, to address a certain and specific need in the community, and is not limited to Dutchess County.
Junior League of Poughkeepsie President Jacqueline Altwerger says the grant application process is open to organizations throughout the Hudson Valley.
Applications are due by April 1, 2022 – in a scanned PDF form emailed to  JLPoughkeepsie@gmail.com with “JLP Grant Application 2022” in the subject line.
President Altwerger said the Junior League expects to determine the final awards and notification to be made by April 18, 2022.
Grant award winners will be asked to attend the Junior League’s May 2, 2022, General Membership Meeting to talk about their project and be recognized as a grant recipient.
Inquiries about the process can be sent to the Junior League of Poughkeepsie Grants Chair Rebecca Gebman via email to JLPoughkeepsie@gmail.com, with “JLP Grant Application 2022” in the subject line.
