Palisades Parkway fatality weather-related, police say

HAVERSTRAW – A fatal accident on the Palisades Interstate Parkway late Saturday morning was weather related, State Police say.

A white Tesla with New Jersey license plates, was traveling north on the parkway in the Haverstraw area at around 11:20 a.m. when it crashed. The lone occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or observed the vehicle before the incident to contact Investigator Eric Haydt at the Haverstraw Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-364-9424.
