MIDDLETOWN – Interim Superintendent of Schools Amy Creeden has been named permanent superintendent by the school board in the Enlarged City School District of Middletown.
The long-time district official was appointed to the role on an interim basis when Superintendent Richard Del Moro retired suddenly last June.
At that time, she expressed interest in seeking appointment to the top post on a permanent basis. The board approved the action last Thursday, March 3.
