NEWBURGH – Police in the City of Newburgh are investigating a stabbing Sunday afternoon in the area of Renwick Street.
A person of interest was detained while police searched for a victim. One person was eventually transported to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Renwick and Williams Streets were blocked off while detectives investigated the scene.
A person of interest is believed to have been detained.
