WEST NYACK – A man who was apparently walking in the area of 116 north Route 303 in West Nyack at around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, was struck by a vehicle and later died, Clarkstown Police said.
The victim’s name was not immediately released pending notification of relatives.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and displayed no signs of impairment.
The Clarkstown Police Department Accident Investigation Team is looking into the cause of the accident.
