TOWN OF WALLKILL – An accident between a school bus from the Circleville Elementary School in the Pine Bush Central School District on Tuesday afternoon sent eight children to Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill, Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman said.
None of the injuries was serious; the children were taken to the hospital for evaluation, he said.
The collision occurred on the Goshen Turnpike at Steven Avenue.
There was no immediate word on the condition of the drivers of both vehicles.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
