Bank robbed in City of Hudson

HUDSON – Police in the City of Hudson are looking for a man who robbed the Trustco Bank branch at 507 Warren Street just before noon on Saturday.

Police he walked into the bank, handed a teller a note demanding cash and when he gave it to him, he fled through a rear door. It is unknown if he got away on foot or if there was a getaway vehicle waiting for him.

No weapon was displayed in the heist.

The suspect is described as about six feet tall and with a light complexion. He appeared to be in his 30s, with dark hair, a beard, and an average building.

He was wearing a gray knit hat and a navy-blue hoodie with an emblem on the left chest.

Officers were backed up by units from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and State Police with a K-9 tracker.

Investigators are currently reviewing video and conducting interviews throughout the city.
