TOWN OF WALLKILL – A man is in Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill suffering from two stab wounds to his abdomen and his alleged assailant was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
The victim was reported hospitalized in stable condition on Friday following the attack at 2 Woodside Knolls Drive in Wallkill around 1:30 p.m.
Following an investigation by Wallkill Detective Robert Reid, Daequan Clark, 20, of Middletown was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Based on the state’s bail reform laws, he was released by Judge Steven Smith pending a future court appearance.
