NEW CITY – A 48-year-old Nanuet woman has been charged with stealing $83,078 from Rockland Tree Experts/Wickes Arborists, the company she worked for as a bookkeeper.

Margarita Guina was indicted by a Rockland County grand jury on 31 counts including grand larceny, forgery and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

It is alleged that on 60 occasions, she used the business payroll account to make Zelle payments that were transferred directly to her own bank account. She also used business bank accounts to pay for her Orange and Rockland Utilities and Optimum cable bills.
