Liberty woman charged with endangering the welfare of three children

LIBERTY – A 32-year-old Liberty mother has been arrested and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child after she left her kids, ranging in age from seven to 11, alone and unsupervised for at least 12 hours.

Village of Liberty Police were dispatched to the Knights Inn Motel where they were unable to locate a parent or guardian. As a result, they were temporarily turned over to the care of Child Protective Services.

Officers located the mother, identified as Chrisdiana Chandler, the following day, at a motel in the Village of Monticello.

She was arrested without incident, arraigned and with the state’s bail refo0rm laws, released on her own recognizance.
