ALBANY – Another 13 residents of the Hudson Valley/Catskills succumbed to COVID-19 on Saturday, the latest day for which statistics were available on Sunday.
The State Health Department reported one death in Columbia County, two each in Dutchess and Orange counties, three in Rockland County and five in Westchester County.
Statewide, 154 New Yorkers died on Saturday, bringing the total to 50,680 since the pandemic struck over two years ago.
There were 6,258 new cases reported across the region.
