Thursday fire in Dover under investigation

DOVER – The J.H. Ketcham Hose Company battled a fire Thursday night on Brady Lane that required the assistance of multiple neighboring departments.  The fire that began at 8:50 p.m. on January 13 is under investigation by Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) detectives the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, and the DCSO Fire and Arson Investigation Unit.

The J. H. Ketcham Hose Company responded to the fire at the 12 Brady Lane building that has multiple apartments in the structure.  The fire displaced several of the residents.
The Dover firefighters were assisted at the scene by Amenia, Wassaic, Union Vale, Pawling, and Gaylordsville, Connecticut fire departments.
Additional Amenia firefighters, joined by the Union Vale, and Sharon, Connecticut fire departments provided fire coverage in the area while units were operating at the scene.
