VILLAGE OF FLORIDA – Police have arrested a juvenile suspect for allegedly reporting a series of phone call threats of violence to the SS Seward Institute        High School of the Florida Union Free School District.

When the calls came in on January 10, the district locked down and eventually evacuated the building.

Law enforcement from several neighboring communities assisted Florida Police in searching the building and determined the threat was not credible.

Continued investigation by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force and Village of Florida Police resulted in the arrest of the child who was charged with a felony of falsely reporting an incident.
