ALBANY – The number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in the region on Sunday declined by about half from the previous day, according to data from the State Health Department.
A total of 5,549 new cases were diagnoses in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region.
A total of 16 new deaths were reported – one each in Columbia and Orange counties, three in Rockland, five in Dutchess and six in Westchester.
