FISHKILL – They say lightning doesn’t strike in the same location twice, but in this case, it did in the form of a second winning $50,000 Powerball ticket being sold in a matter of days at Smokes 4 Less on Main Street in Fishkill.

One of three $50,000 winning tickets sold statewide for the January 1 drawing was purchased in the same store as another winning ticket for the same amount was sold on Christmas Day.

The winning numbers drawn on New Year’s Day were 6, 12, 39, 48, 50 and the Powerball of 7.

The other two winning tickets in the latest game were sold in Sag Harbor and West Islip.
