Over 8,000 new COVID cases in one day in Hudson Valley/Catskills

ALBANY – In the last day, 8,028 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region.

Nine more people have died – one each in Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, and Rockland, two in Sullivan, and three in Westchester County.

In Ulster County, there were 200 new cases; in Dutchess, 660; in Orange County, 1,598; in Sullivan County, 268, and in Westchester, 3,409.
