VT man on parole in CT arrested following domestic dispute in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES – A Rutland, Vermont man was arrested by Saugerties Police on Sunday following a domestic dispute at 135 Partition Street in the Village of Saugerties.

Christopher Johnson, 38, was charged with two felony counts of criminal contempt, and the misdemeanors of criminal mischief, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Johnson is currently on parole in the State of Connecticut where he is awaiting sentencing.

During a pat-down search, officers discovered he was wearing a GPS ankle bracelet.
