Gardiner woman accused of stealing over $730,000 from employer

HIGHLAND – State Police have arrested a 36-year-old Gardiner resident on felony grand larceny and forgery charges.  Kelly Scotto is accused of stealing more than $730,000 from her former employer over a three-year period.

 

State Police investigators charged Scotto on Tuesday with two felony counts of grand larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument for stealing money from her former employer, also located in Gardiner.

 

Scotto was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court on all three felony charges and released on her own recognizance and given a return date to the Town of Gardiner Court on January 5, 2022.
