Victim of Sunday’s fatal Neversink crash was Grahamsville woman

NEVERSINK – State Police from the Liberty barracks say the victim in the fatal car crash early Sunday morning was s 30-year-old Grahamsville woman.

Police said that just before 3:30 a.m., Erica Vilaca was driving alone in a 2014 Jeep Compass when it ran off Divine Corners Road, hit a ditch, continued across Route 55, striking a guard rail and rolling over.

She was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by Mobil Medic EMTs, Neversink Volunteer Fire Department and State Department of Environmental Conservation.

The incident remains under investigation.
