Over the last few years, detectives have re-examined evidence, re-interviewed witnesses, friends, family members, co-workers and others from Smith’s life.

On that December day 20 years ago, Smith did not show up for work at Horton Hospital in Middletown. Her parents received a call from her co-workers and when they checked her home on Provost Drive, they found her dead on the living room floor. She had been viciously attacked and murdered.

There is still a $20,000 reward being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible for smith’s murder.
