GOSHEN – A 46-year-old Middletown man faces from six to 15 years in state prison when sentenced in February following his conviction in Orange County Court of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Cory Williams was arrested on December 18, 2019 by Middletown City Police aided the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group and State Police, who executed search warrants for his Little Monhagen Road residence, his vehicle and his person.

A total of 19 individually packaged bags of cocaine were recovered from Williams’ groin and his butt cheeks.

“The COVID pandemic may have slowed the pace at which some cases proceed though the criminal justice system, but this case demonstrates the District Attorney’s Office’s ongoing commitment to work with our law enforcement partners to stop drug dealers who attempt to profit off the addiction of others,” said DA David Hoovler.
