POUGHKEEPSIE – Thirty-one-year-old Nicholas Panagio of Wappingers Falls succumbed to injuries he sustained last week in a fire at Waryas Park.  Panagio was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital on December 2 and then transported to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition due to second and third-degree burns.  He passed away on Sunday, December 5.

His brother Anthony, sister Zoe Panagio, along with the rest of the family have organized a crowdsourcing fundraiser to pay for the funeral costs associated with the abrupt death of their brother.  Those willing to support the family in their cause can click HERE.
