AMENIA – A LaGrange man was arrested by the State Police on December 2 on felony charges of burglary, criminal sex act, and sexual abuse.
Thomas Ryan, 54, was arrested after a police investigation into a November 1 incident in Amenia.
Troopers responded to an Amenia residence at 10:50 p.m. for a report of a burglary in progress. They said Ryan had allegedly illegally entered the residence through a window and sexually assaulted the unidentified victim.
He was arraigned before in Town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
