NEWBURGH – A brawl between female former and current students at Newburgh Free Academy Main in the City of Newburgh this week was captured on cell phone video.
Sources said someone let former students in the building and they attacked current students in a hallway. The victims were punched and kicked.
Security personnel rushed to the scene in an attempt to break up the fight.
School district spokeswoman Cassie Sklarz said the district does not have a comment about the incident at this time. “Any further information will be shared directly with our Newburgh Enlarged City School District community,” she said.
It was not immediately known if anyone was hurt in the disturbance.
Newburgh City Police were investigating the situation.
