SAUGERTIES – A 61-year-old Village of Saugerties man has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right after he failed to negotiate the road at 7 Mynderse Street in the village and struck a stone wall.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 1 at about 4:20 in the afternoon when John Cassidy was driving a 1993 Dodge pickup truck.
Following processing at police headquarters, he was released on tickets returnable to Saugerties Village Justice Court.
