80th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor

NEW WINDSOR – The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 5 at 2 p.m. with a program highlighting the history of that day with video clips of Pearl Harbor survivors relating their recollections, and talking about the date that will live in infamy.

The program will conclude with the tolling of a ship’s bell for those lost that day.

The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is located at 374 Temple Hill Road (Route 300) in New Windsor.

The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is a New York State Parks site under the jurisdiction of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. The Palisades Interstate Park Commission administers 29 parks, parkways and historic sites for the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in New York as well as the Palisades Interstate Park and parkway in New Jersey.
