NYACK – A 75-year-old man who had been reported missing from his Nyack home on last Wednesday, November 3, was found dead in a densely wooded area of Nyack Beach State Park on Monday.
First responders, who had searched for Richard Kendall since he disappeared, found his body around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 8.
Orangetown Police detectives and the Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office are continuing to investigate the circumstances, but police said no suspicious activity has been found.
Agencies involved in in the search included State Park Police, State Police, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s BCI Unit, and Nyack Fire Department Search and Rescue.
