SPARKILL – Fire at 12 North Queens Court in Sparkill damaged a home Friday evening.
Orangetown Police said the fire was reported at around 6:30 p.m.
Residents had safely vacated the building by the time first responders arrived.
The cause of the fire was an apparent electrical issue and the fire was not deemed suspicious, police said.
Firefighters from Sparkill, Orangeburg, Tappan, Nyack, Central Nyack, Old Tappan, SOAC/Medic 21 and the South Spring Valley chief responded.
