YONKERS – A 27-year-old Yonkers man has been arrested and charged with two counts of murder in connection with the stabbing deaths of a mother and daughter in their Shipman Avenue home in Yonkers.

According to the felony complaints, between October 29 at about 11:30 a.m. and November 1 at about 4 p.m., Luis Ramos, who knew both victims, fatally stabbed 38-year-old Trisha Miller and her mother, 70-year-old Isabella Triano.

The bodies of the victims were found in their home at around 4:30 p.m. on November 1 when police responded for a welfare check.
