WALLKILL – Ulster County Republican Chairman Roger Rascoe has died.

He passed away of an apparent heart attack on Friday. He was 69.

“Roger dedicated his life to improving the lives of New Yorkers through the political process, in his community work, and in his long career serving in the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and in the Office of Children and Family Services,” said State GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy.

“In his more than a decade-long tenure as Ulster GOP chairman, he played an invaluable role in helping to elect candidates from the local level to Congress,” Langworthy said.
