GOSHEN – The Board of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency, Wednesday, named Bill Fioravanti as its new chief executive officer.

Until now, he has been the county’s economic development director, but since the shakeup of the IDA earlier this year, he has been serving as acting CEO in addition to his county role. He received no additional remuneration for his extra responsibilities during the interim period.

County Executive Steven Neuhaus has been notified of Fioravanti’s new appointment and offered his blessings.

The IDA is also looking to fill the position of legal counsel. County Attorney Langdon Chapman has been doing double-duty with his full-time job as acting IDA attorney for the last several months.
