NEW CITY – Following interviews and review with candidates for the bench, the Judiciary Review and Screening Committee of the Rockland County Bar Association has rated candidates seeking election in two weeks.
Candidates for Supreme Court Justice in the 9th Judicial District:

Hon. Robert Berliner – highly qualified
Thomas Davis – highly qualified
Richard Guertin – highly qualified
James Hendry, III – qualified
James Hyer – qualified
Thomas Quinones – highly qualified
Candidate for Family Court Justice – Hon. Sherri Eisenpress highly qualified.
Candidate for Haverstraw Town Justice – Hon Ivonne Santos – highly qualified.
Candidate foe Orangetown Town Justice – Hon. Richard Finning – highly qualified.
Candidate for Stony Point Town Justice – Hon. Frank Phillips – highly qualified.
Candidate for Village of Piermont Justice – Mare Ruby – qualified.
The bar association noted that judicial members of the organization had no involvement with the rating of judicial candidates.
