The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists today that the ramp from westbound State Route 17 to Exit 125 (State Route 17M) in the Town of Goshen, Orange County, will be closed beginning Wednesday, October 20 through approximately Wednesday, November 10, to facilitate guiderail work, weather permitting.

Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing the Exit 124 ramp as an alternate.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
