Valley Cottage teen pleads guilty in shooting death of Chicago man

NEW CITY – A Valley Cottage teen has pled guilty in the shooting death of a Chicago man visiting Nyack last August.

Collyer Goodman appeared before Rockland County Court Judge Kevin Russo on Monday where he pled guilty to manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon for the shooting death of Darien Brydie, who was 21 at the time of his death.

The investigation was conducted by the Orangetown Police Department.
