GOSHEN – A Goshen man was found dead in a small creek in a wooded area of Greenwich Avenue in the Village of Goshen late Friday morning.
Police Chief James Watt said there is no indication of foul play. He identified the man as Christopher Buck.
The chief said he was last seen buying cigarettes and beer in a nearby convenience store and it is theorized that he became drunk and may have fallen or passed out and landed in the creek.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death, Watt said.
