Police investigate shooting with uncooperative victim

POUGHKEEPSIE – City of Poughkeepsie police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting at Kaal Rock Park.  The 2:00 p.m. incident resulted in one man sustaining a gunshot to the foot.
As police were responding to the park for the report of shots fired, they were updated by City 911 that a shooting victim was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) in a private vehicle.  Detectives responded to the hospital and located an uncooperative 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Crime scene technicians searched the park and found a vehicle with several bullet holes.  The vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation.
