RAMAPO – A 14-year-old girl was injured when a hammer went flying through the windshield of the car in which she was riding on the Thruway.
State Police said the front seat passenger was transported to Westchester Medical Center following the 2:19 a.m. incident on Sunday, October 10. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred on the southbound Thruway just south of exit 14A in the Town of Ramapo.
The case remains under investigation and police are asking anyone who may have information about it to call them at 800-842-2233.
