Saugerties woman pleads guilty to Greene County murder

CATSKILL – A Saugerties woman pled guilty in Greene County Court on Friday to murder in connection with the stabbing death of a Greene County woman, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

Amber Atkins, 40, admitted to killing of Crystal Borne, 39, of the Town of Cairo, who was in a relationship with Atkins’ estranged husband.

When sentenced in December, Atkins is expected to receive 15 years to life in prison.
