GOSHEN – A man serving a 16-year-prison term on his conviction to manslaughter and weapon’s possession charges in Orange County Court has lost the appeal of his conviction.
Fabian Corley, 29, pled guilty in November 2017 to shooting Hubert Hines, 21, of Newburgh in the back as he ran away from a drug deal gone bad on March 7.
The Appellate Division of State Supreme Court ruled that contrary to Corley’s contention, his sentence was not excessive.
