POUGHKEEPSIE – Gunfire in Poughkeepsie early Saturday morning damaged a car that was parked on the 400 block of Main Street. The incident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
City police say that patrol officers heard what was believed to be gunshots at 3:00 a.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Main and Clinton Streets. The officers canvassed the area and found a vehicle with bullet damage on the 400 block of Main Street.
Crime Scene Technicians responded to the area and evidence was collected. The vehicle was impounded for further investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the confidential TIP LINE at (845)451-7577.
