POUGHKEEPSIE – LCS Facilities Group celebrated 20 years of service on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at their headquarters on Cottage Street in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Founded by Joe Lepore in 2001 with a single van and five employees, LCS Facility Group has become a widely recognized outsourcing partner within the facilities management sector. The business has grown to nearly 500 employees and remains a family-owned business with strong ties to the community they call home.
Frank Castella, CEO of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce led the ceremony that was attended by elected officials and community members from the Hudson Valley.  Calling the Lepore family “A true American dream,” Castella praised the efforts of the family that continues to invest in the communities they serve.
NYS Senator Sue Serino (R-Hyde Park) NYS Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson (D-Newburgh), and Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro were among the speakers that praised the Lepore family for their commitment to growing their business, employing local residents, and becoming an industry leader in their field.
Poughkeepsie City Administrator Marc Nelson touted the work of LCS during the pandemic.  “From the start, LCS was in city hall conducting routine thorough cleanings that played a role in keeping our employees and the public safe.  We plan to use a portion of our American Rescue Plan (ARP) money to bring LCS back to all of our city facilities for a thorough COVID cleaning.  The work that LCS does has kept us safe and we look forward to continuing on that path.”
“This milestone is a testament to our exceptional employees and the great partnerships that we have developed, which have sustained and fueled our growth over the past 20 years. By empowering employees to develop one-on-one relationships with clients and work towards LCS’s mission, the company continues to exceed customer expectations with customized solutions,” said Joe Lepore.  Lepore’s wife Maria was quick to tell the attendees that their success is a team effort.  “Our employees have played a major role in the success of LCS,” Mrs. Lepore said, adding “They deserve our thanks.”
Today the company is led by Joe Lepore’s three sons, Daniel, Joseph, and Domenico who have planned to honor this significant anniversary with the release of a more modern version of their logo, updated brand colors, and redesigned website that showcases the company’s evolution and expansion, while still honoring its core purpose.
In recognition of their contributions, LCS Facility Group has been honored with numerous awards since its inception, including Family Services’ Family of the Year and Westfair Magazine’s Top Family-Owned Business. Most recently, the company has been selected to appear in an episode of “The American Dream”, which will air on The Bloomberg Network and Amazon Prime later this fall.
