Thirteen shots fired in Newburgh; no victim located

NEWBURGH – Gunfire rang out in the City of Newburgh Sunday night when the ShotSpotter program notified the police that 13 rounds were fired in the area of 109 William Street.

Officers located a vehicle that had been struck as well as shell casings.

There was no victim located following the 9:42 p.m. incident.

The case is under investigation by the Newburgh City Police Department Detective Division.
