ALBANY – An Orange County man pled guilty in Albany federal court to possessing and intending to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine.
As part of his guilty plea, Peter Mami, 43, admitted that on March 2, 2020, he and his co-defendant possessed with intent to distribute approximately two kilograms of cocaine.
Mami faces from five to 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million, plus a term of post-release supervision of from four years to life when sentenced in January 2022.
The case was investigated by the DEA and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ashlyn Miranda and Joshua Rosenthal.
