HYDE PARK – A 37-year-old Hyde Park man was arrested on Wednesday, one week after he was arrested on other drug charges, but was released on his own recognizance.

Nicolas Pagano was arrested following execution of a search warrant at his residence at 9 Bircher in Hyde Park. It was based on the illegal sales of heroin and cocaine in Dutchess and Ulster counties.

Seized during the search were 300 bags of fentanyl, cocaine, and approximately $2,500 in cash.

He was charged with four counts of felony drug possession, arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Prior to the warrant search and arrest on August 25, Pagano was released on his own recognizance following his arrest on August 16 based on an investigation by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force and the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team. That arrest on drug charges occurred in Highland.
