POUGHKEEPSIE – Police are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing that took place in Poughkeepsie.  The victim was located at the intersection of South Avenue and Deane Place at approximately 10:15 a.m.

Police and medics from Mobile Life Support Services were dispatched to the intersection for a report of a man that had been stabbed.  The victim was located and determined to have a stab wound to the buttocks.

The victim, described as uncooperative, was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center and police are continuing their investigation.
